Whimsical little love song. Hailing back to a time when life seemed a little easier and a bit less hurried. People seemed a little more friendly. We tolerated one another and had more patience. I wrote this on the screen porch on a beautiful, late spring day while listening to my lovely wife float around the house. A soft, warm breeze was lightly blowing. "Covid" Blues. I was traveling earlier this year when the pandemic lit up the north east. Needing to quarantine for sometime before I returned home, I wrote this piece on a dreary, rainy March afternoon. we all need a little alone time. Being separated from your loved one(s) for a prolonged period of time, especially during a time of crisis, makes us realize how fortunate we are to love and be loved.
