This song describes what happens in a long term relationship when one or both forget about being in love, as they drift apart they start looking at other people or they just don't care. It has sometimes been described as living with your sibling.
Lions travel in packs known as prides. The Lioness does all the hunting and bad b**ch sh**t.
The lyric depicts the struggles we have as humans to be the saviour of everyone. It speaks from the male's point of view where he fails to live up to his responsibilities when it truly matters. The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are very oxymoronic (even in the song's title) but still very real. It creates a sense of polarity. You're guaranteed a moved audience who can relate. It fits perfectly into most genres.
I tried to put together an old-style western album. I ended up only writing a handful of songs. This is my favorite of the lot, and easily one of my top-three favorites I ever wrote. It's about a group of pioneers who went out west in search of their fortune. They didn't find it and instead went broke, became homeless, and started to starve. So they turned to the outlaw life to make some money, but got carried away with being outlaws.
