This is a song of triumph, expressing faith in an all-powerful God Who is more than able to keep us safe in perilous times such as these in which we find ourselves. The Verses speak of His Word is a lamp and a light in darkest of times (Psalm 119:105), and a tower we can run to when the fight lands at our door.
