Dreams in my head

(Howard Aronson)

This lyric is about dreams. Some seems so realistic that they must be based on something that's close to me. Others seem distant, and more like a lie. I really don't know what a lot of these dreams mean and I can't live forever so I wish I'd be able to find out now. Are these dreams something that's telling me what's in store for me, or what I missed, I really don't know but all I know is I have lots of dreams in my head when I sleep, and when I awake I just wonder what it all means.

I can't live forever Don't know if I can be who I want to be The clock is ticking Time is running out on me I'm not sure of anything Now's the time to find out Every night I have these dreams And have no idea what they're about Maybe they're all lies Or is it the truth in disguise I wish they were clear So I have nothing to fear Dreams in my head Are they based on a book I read Dreams in my head I think they want me dead So many lies I feel So unworthy When I lie awake And no one hears My cries Dreams in my head Dreams in my head Dreams in my head Dreams in my head Maybe they're all lies Or is it the truth in disguise I wish they were clear So I have nothing to fear I can't wait forever I can't wait forever It may be never It may be never

Will you be the one

By Howard Aronson

This is a love song of sorts, about a woman that I love very much but don't know if she loves me. I asked the question do you love me anymore and will you be the one for me. We've had a long relationship, and maybe our love has grown old, and we just meant to be two ships passing in the night. But I can't help but Wonder if there's something I can do to make things right or to bring back that passion that we once had. My question is will you be the one?

Nothing will be okay

By Howard Aronson

This is a rock Ballard about a relationship that was wrong from almost the start. I didn't realize it until it was too late, and now I know that nothing will be okay until she is out of my life. I know this sounds harsh but I would have rather killed myself than spend another day with her. That's the torment that I felt during this relationship. Finally there was a day in my life where I had the courage to tell her, and walk away m

King Henry the VIII

By Howard Aronson

This is a rock song about King Henry VIII. I just wanted to write something different because I love history especially about nights and the Vikings and that whole era. King Henry was particularly a very vicious and non-caring man. He ruled over his kingdom with an iron thumb, and thought nothing about killing people. His main goal is to conquer as many territories as he possibly could. I think this would make a great hard rock song.

The 70's

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about my love of music, particularly rock and roll. The 70s were very influential time for me. It was between the ages of 10 and 19. During that time I was exposed to a lot of great rock and roll bands, and had the opportunity to see many of them live. It would shape my love for music more than any other genre. Today as I write lyrics, many of those bands are inspiring to me. This is also a lyric about the memories that I have going to those concerts, and hanging out with some of my high school friends. We all love music, and we were all exposed to so much of it.
