(Isaac Wragg)

This a song about change and trying to figure yourself out. It was written for a simple, more acoustic vibe--the lyrics reflect this in their simplicity, shortness, and contemplative nature. There's a strong element of confusion woven in, but it's overshadowed in the end by the promise of what's to come.

[Verse 1] Playing the same chords But hoping for something new My rhythm’s in discord Why’s it always me or you I wanna be different But I don't want to change I wish you would listen I wish you knew my name [Chorus] I would let go If I had a hold I still don't know How to share my soul I'm on repeat But the song's not me I still retreat But soon I'll be free [Verse 2] Looking through my thoughts I'm searching for clarity The noises won't stop But now they don't own me I feel like I'm XXXXXXXX XX XXXXXXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXXXXX X XXXXXXX X XX XXXXX XXXXXXXX X XXXXX XXX XX XX X XXX X XXXX X XXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXX XX XXXXX XX XXXX XXX XX XXXXXX XXX XXX XXXXXX XXX XX X XXXXX XXXXXXX XXX XXXX XXXX XX XXXX

Move

By Isaac Wragg

It's hard to leave people behind--yet it can be far worse when others leave you behind. That feeling is what Move is all about. It's describing a desire to stop everything in order to hold on, fighting the fear of being abandoned, and crying out when life feels overwhelming. Practically, the song experiments by mixing up its flow several times in the second-half, like an ever-shifting plea begging to be heard. It's odd form makes it a challenging yet highly versatile song for anyone willing to take it on. This is the sister-song to Alone, able to be played immediately before or after it.

Alone

By Isaac Wragg

Being around friends and family doesn't mean that you don't feel lonely. Being near those you love doesn't mean you feel wanted or important. And pretending everything is still okay will only tear you apart from the inside-out. This song lacks specificity, yet applies to many people in a very personal manner. It's a self-titled anthem for anyone with relationships that still lets them feel alone.

Plan

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about me, and my inability to stick to a plan. I'm great at making plans, but I'm also good at diverting myself from that plan I think if you're going to do something like that you have to have another plan in place, and I rarely ever did today I try to live my life differently and if I make a plan I stick to it if it's not working I reassess make another plan and stick to that one I admire people who can stick to a plan and I think it's part of being a mature person.

In einer Welt, in der man quantitativ konsumiert

By Ann-Kathrin Betz
