Strolling down the street a lucky guy
But use caution, disaster draws nigh
On the wall is a black silhouette
The devils out to get you, and he might yet
You won’t think it’s funny
When a crook steals your money
He may even shoot you in the head
Suddenly, times up and you’re dead
When you smash a mirror
Your fate draws ever nearer
Bad luck for 7 years or more
You’ll wish you never opened that door
Your life was going to be stupendous
But it has turned into something horrendous
All was going well
Now it descends into hell
Your girl doesn’t want you around
You’re not the same man she found
A shadow hangs over your shoulder
As the forces of evil grow ever bolder
They turn what was good into something bad
Turn what was happy into something sad
Closer draws perditions flames
And you only have yourself to blame
Bad luck and misfortune for 7 years or more
It chills you down to the core
When you smash a mirror
Your fate draws ever nearer
