He goes extra lengths just to mantain & keep her fed
He barely has time to rest it's day after day on a grind
He goes out in a rush & he gets back badly exhausted
She stresses coz achieving her own dreams is kinda dead
She's grateful of his efforts but stress is all up in her head
She's mad at the world coz her life is a desperate need
Disguised demons on their bedside are like a lampshed
Hardships reflecting in both their lives cant be easily suppressed

The landlord comes around more than luck & good times
He thinks of skipping town to seek for greener pastures
She thinks of leaving coz her heart has hidden fractures
Both share utopic visions of the same imaginary futures
He loves her but time is money so he spends hours
Hours on a grind that drains him of his affectionate powers
She's slipping away from happiness like a bird without feathers

She feels like flying but she's grounded in a "no flying zone"
He pays attention but still can't afford to buy the passion that's gone
He feels like a wounded soldier fighting four enemies all alone
Sometimes he wants to call quits but can't press the dial on his phone
He knows that without her his world has no vision & reason

On the other hand she is keeping a secret from him
She's pregnant & scared to come clean & tell him
Everyday he shuts the door behind him she cries like a fire alarm

She understands the situation in their life is heading for doom
Both of them are surviving the pains of emotional harm
Both of them are hurting both of them need inner healing
He starts smoking pipes & coming home late reeking
She starts taking pills to kill the nightmare she's having
She forgets about the fetus in the womb she's carrying
She loses the unborn & it even gets harder for her to bear
The fact that she has failed haunts her like trauma & fear
She takes more pills when voices are screaming in her ear
She's sailing to nowhere as she drowns in every drop of a tear
He doesn't know what's going on with her but she looks sick
He is sick of the condition his aggression cant let him speak
The mixed signal he's getting makes a man break
Thoughts running in his brain are keeping him awake

He is broadcasting waves that can stain the listener's hypothalamus
But what good does silence bring when he holds a loud apparatus
It's no use in his hands like the tarnished image of a prestigious status
Their relationship is suffocating it needs breathing spaces
She can't let the cat out the bag coz it's an open a can of worms
Self-doubt & guilt envelopes her within a state of stasis
She feels paralyzed as if the world is watching her go infamous
Paranoia is trickling down her spine sending shivers
She can't hold it in or let it go she's held between two rivers
He watches how she reacts it's worrisome & it gets him nervous
Expectations have changed it's up side down & she's precious.
