He Loved The Women

(Nick Duer)

This is my first country song, it's based on a fools life, and that fool is me. I went 9 years clean, and during that time a good 6 years without even kissing a girl. You have to relearn some things. I had been the drunken crazy guy. The girls went out with me to show their wildness, or upset their parents, or current or ex-spouse. Once I got a taste again I was off and running. Let a bunch of fine, honest, loving ones slip through my fingers. Maybe cause my fingers were busy texting the next victim or grabbing her behind. Now older, alone, I have some regrets. But I wouldn't trade a one of them. Cause I do love the women.

Well his eyes are wrinkled Hair rapidly thinnin Had a rough life, and lots of women Some that he loved, some he just used Tenderly gloved, but hearts left abused There was never a time he was meaning to harm Not hard to find, given his looks and his charm Followed animal instincts, and sometimes his heart Some held him together, some tore him apart Not once did he look upon it as sinnin Only excuse that he had, was he loved the women Somehow he never wound up hitched Never fathered no children At the time that he had them, not one woman bitched Their every desire happily he fulfilled them He still has more women then guys he calls friends Just got more in common or that's what he pretends He was his mommas boy, back from the beginin Might be that helped get a start to his love for women Life winds down karma works good and bad magic No matter how it might sound, this stories not tragic Because in the end, push come to shove XXXXX XXX XXXX XXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXX XX XXXXX XXX XXXXXXX XXXX XXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXXX XX XXX XXXX XX XXXX XX XXXXXX XXXXXX XXX XXX XXXX XXXXXX XX XXX XXX XXXX XXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX XXXX XXX XXXX XXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXX XXX XXXXX XX XXX XXXXXXX XXX XXXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX X XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XX XXX XXX XX XXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXX XX XXXXX XXX XXXXX

On Angels Wings

By Nick Duer

Another song for the Angel on 9th Street. As I call her. She is truly beautiful, most of all her eyes. At the time I was struggling with life in general. It sometimes took as little as a thought of her eyes to give me courage, or motivation to keep trying.

Plagiarized Love Song

By Nick Duer

The ultimate love song, for the biggest love the writer has ever felt. He is a lover of love, and a lover of song. The woman never returned the feeling. But the feeling itself is return enough. A playlist named Songs For My Angel, contains most of these songs. Any song he has written since meeting her has a little inspiration from his Angel.

Real Love

By Nick Duer

This is a song to my inspiration for the better part of 2 years. I call her the Angel on 9th Street. She was very kind and patient to a guy that didn't know how to handle his feelings. She taught me patience, she taught me to love with or without it being returned.

Don't Mess With The Kid

By Nick Duer

This is an angry rap song. Life in a small Kansas town with it's prejudice and gossip can make you feel angry. I am also small of stature, was picked on in grade school. My dad taught me to let them know I won't back down. Got respect in grade school, got trouble after that.

Lausige Zeiten

By Daniel Nowak
