Dieser Text entstand auf der Rückfahrt von Schladming im Oktober 2012, wo mir in einem kleinen Tal der Tod begegnet war. Oben war es schön warm, in diesem Tal schlagartig eiskalt und frostig und ich war überzeugt den Tod zu spüren. Dort kam mir die Melodie zu "Victims" in den Sinn und schrie verlangend nach einem deutschen Text. In der darauffolgenden Nacht kam eine Freundin von mir nach einem Herzanfall ins Krankenhaus. Sie hat es überlebt, ich habe ihr diesen Song gewidmet.
