Wildheart
A song about a resentful girl who shuns the world and whose contempt for society has a direct influence on her friends, family, peers and anyone she comes across in her daily life. The song is written in the perspective of someone sympathetically advising her to be less spiteful and apathetic for the benefit of herself and others around her.

(Verse 1)
Tell it true, do you like being alone?
I see your pocketful of stones
Be careful who you throw them to
It's dangerous, the fire in you
Come on up to higher ground
Far above the smoke of town
It burns your eyes 'til it's hard to see
It's tiring how people can be
(Pre chorus)
You wouldn't care if this whole world
Went spinning down to hell, my girl
As long as you could get away in time
(Chorus)
Oh, the emptiness in your eyes, it gives you right away
And you're silent like the night when it's clear you have something to say
But nothing good can come from it, you're tearing lives apart
So you should think twice tonight, wildheart
(Verse 2)
You think that life's a game to you
But what if life is playing you?
If you leave tonight you will find the truth
It's hard to win, you're bound to lose
(Pre chorus)
It's unusual for a girl like you
To see the world quite the way you do
You're setting yourself up for a lonely life
(Chorus)
Oh, the emptiness in your eyes, it gives you right away
And you're silent like the night when it's clear you have something to say
But nothing good can come from it, you're tearing lives apart
So you should think twice tonight, wildheart
(Bridge)
The sky won't fall upon you, but sometimes it might rain
The world isn't out to hurt you, but at times you might feel pain
Though you dream of sand so diamond white
Underneath it's as black as coal
And if you live the island life you'll just end up a sole survivor
Living out your days until you're half alive, and then
It'll be much too late
To erase your mistakes
(Chorus)
Oh, the emptiness in your eyes, it gives you right away
And you're silent like the night when it's clear you have something to say
But nothing good can come from it, you're tearing lives apart
So you should think twice tonight, wildheart
You should think twice, tonight, wildheart
