Manchmal tut man nur so, als ob es einem gut ginge. In Wirklichkeit sieht es im Inneren ganz düster aus. Und oft liegt das an den eigenen Entscheidungen. In dem Song geht es um Beziehung, Liebe und Glaube.

Liebesbeziehungen sind nicht immer leicht. Weder die Beziehung zu Menschen noch zu Gott. Der Interpret setzt sich in diesem Lied genau mit dieser Tatsache auseinander.

This lyric is about a guy who was in love and still is in love with a person from their past. One day downtown they run into each other he hasn't seen her for a while and he just doesn't know what to do or what to say. All he knows is that memories tend to fade put a picture always last forever. He tried to talk to her about old times but it just wasn't working even when he brought up the the fact that he still has a picture of them in his wallet. It's a heartache type of lyric, but one person just has that love in them forever. I could relate, as if I ran into this girl that I needed when I was in my mid-20s, she's probably the one I fell in love with more than anybody and I used to have a picture of her but I lost it. Anyway it just made me think of this lyric.

The Answer is a song about finding your meaning in life. A love song.

This lyric is about a relationship where the man makes a big mistake and the relationship falls apart. Now he's having remorse everyday and every night, and reminiscing and all that was good about what they had. At first he didn't think that he deserved to be on the outside looking in. But then when he thought about what he did he realized the mistake that he made. Basically he's pleading to her for one more chance, and it's telling her in so many words how sorry he is, and talking about the good things that they had in the past
