I’ve been sitting on this barstool like every other damn fool Still trying to figure out where I went wrong And as I watched her walk away I thought “this time she’s gone to stay” and how my life just became a country song I thought if I could find her perhaps I could remind her I’d hold her close and try to make her see But there’s just no way of knowing all I saw was her goin’, but.. That’s between the whiskey and me Chorus: Between the whiskey and me right where she never wanted to be trying to keep us apart tryin’ to save these two hearts can’t believe all the damage that I see so many times she fought the fight Between the whiskey and me Time goes by and we move on Anger fades and the hate is gone Wish I could right all my wrongs and spare those caught in the crossfire Between the whiskey and me Repeat Chorus: Between the whiskey and me right where she never wanted to be trying to keep us apart tryin’ to save these two hearts can’t believe all the damage that I see so many times she fought the fight Between the whiskey and me

Plan

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about me, and my inability to stick to a plan. I'm great at making plans, but I'm also good at diverting myself from that plan I think if you're going to do something like that you have to have another plan in place, and I rarely ever did today I try to live my life differently and if I make a plan I stick to it if it's not working I reassess make another plan and stick to that one I admire people who can stick to a plan and I think it's part of being a mature person.

By Ann-Kathrin Betz
