You have to prove you're open to love and they have to prove they are to be trusted with your heart. You gradually open yourself - your 'layers'. The overall atmosphere/vibes of the lyrics are very deep, mystical, and weirdly romantic. I purposely did not make any distinctive verses, hooks, or choruses because I wanted to leave the autonomy to the artist - the lyrics flow quite fluidly. Genres: Rnb, Hip Hop, Pop, Rap (this could be used for the melody, accompanying a rap song). These lyrics fit perfectly into the aforementioned genres.
