The singer has tried keeping their life together, but they have realized they must break down before they are able to rebuild themself. They ask the listener to help them break now so they can then begin to heal tomorrow.

The songs tells the story of a girl that lived in her own palace of glass, prioritizing transparency over protecting her own feelings. Then, a boy comes along and shatters her by taking advantage of that transparency.

The singer has felt a lot and paid the price for it, and no they don´t want to keep feeling so much to save themselves the pain.
