He kneels to the ground, torn,
Broken in despair, so forlorn.
As silent tears streak his skin,
He relents his latest sin.

Quietly he sobs, hushed, hidden,
For a crying man is forbidden.
In a world 'supposed to be free,
Only alone it is he can see.

The pain soaring, burning wild,
Has him screeching like a child.
Locked up inside his broken mind,
Lies a soul, sweet and kind.

"Hush now darling, sleep my dear,
For the end is never near."
As broken sobs rock him asleep,
She prays for his sanity to keep.

Quietly watching, to and fro,
Seeing demons come and go,
His broken mind needs time to heal,
His shattered soul needs to be reveal'.
