Conversations in the dark
Countless words dispersed in time
Endless rhythms intertwining
All the meaning lost in rhyme

In the silence, shattered glass
A single word to cut the soul
A bleeding heart for all to see
A broken life to serve a whole

Where the heart reveals its secrets
Is the place where no one goes
The coldest, darkest freedom
Where the truth, it always shows

Aching honesty of life
We never want to know
