Last card

(Howard Aronson)

This lyric is about me finding a relationship that doesn't end with me feeling down and out, one that leaves me crying. Maybe I'm trying too hard, and just have to wait until it finds me. I talk about never figuring it out, and maybe I'm not supposed to. I asked the question am I out of touch am I trying too hard, have I played my last card. I think you have to keep believing that the right relationship does exist. You just have to be patient

From where I stand On the outside looking in I always come up short I just can't win I can't figure it out Cuz it's not from the lack of trying If I can only find someone Who doesn't leave me crying Am I out of touch Am I asking too much Am I trying too hard Have I played my last card I've been let down Time and time again No matter what I do They just want to be friends I don't understand Why love is so hard to find It's been this way for so long It's driving me out of my mind Am I out of touch Am I asking too much Am I trying too hard Have I played my last card I just want someone to believe in And believes in Me That's all I'm askin So I can be free Am I out of touch Am I asking too much Am I trying too hard Have I played my last card

I want you to know

By Howard Aronson

Hysteric is about love and trust. Sometimes in life one person has to leave the other for a certain amount of time. But they always come back despite the other person's fear of them not returning. It's hard to live life without fear, but you can't let it stop you from living. You have to have trust, and rely on what what happens over time. If someone says they have to go, and they always return, you should rely on them returning again. I understand where the fear of them not returning comes in to play, but you have to work to not let it overtake you or your emotions. This lyric is about telling somebody exactly that.

Hands of time

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about time. It's something you can't see except on a clock, and that's not really seeing it. Time keeps on going even if we don't want it to. Sometimes it moves so slow in the days drag on, and other times it goes by so fast you wonder what hit you. It works both ways, time can affect how you feel whether it be good or bad. All I know is time doesn't go as fast or slow as I want it to. Time is controlled by no one, it's indicated by the hands of a clock or watch, but my hands have nothing to do with it

I'm so lucky

By Howard Aronson

This is a fictitious lyric, and it's one that was inspired by Neil Young. To me he's one of the great songwriters of all time. It's about a woman who has money, and a man who doesn't. But she also has a steadfast love for this man, and is there for him at any turn. He knows how lucky he is to have her, and feels blessed. Sometimes you feel like love is just luck

Hoping for love

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about hope, Hope for Love. I don't know if I have ever truly been in love in my whole life, or if I have the other person was probably not in love with me. There are many reasons for this, my ADHD, my bipolar, and of course my years of using drugs and alcohol. But that's not to say that I'm not a lovable guy, because I know I am. I try not to let those things overshadow the person that I really am. I yearn for love in my life, and I know it's out there. But before you can find love you have to love yourself. I'm working on that everyday. But I don't think I'm asking for too much, when I ask to find love.

Mere Mortals

Mere Mortals is for those who feel exploited, controlled, and lied to. The song gives an air of desperate revolution under an oppressive force; whether that be mental or physical. This song is for those who feel trapped, but will never stop fighting for themselves and their cause.

Vergessen

By Andrea Pflüger

Der Liedtext schildert die Qual, wenn man sich von einer alten Liebe innerlich nicht lösen kann, obwohl man weiß, das einem dies nicht guttut.
