Dylan, My Divine

(Karianne Gabaldon)

This song is about a man I recently met and can’t tell just yet whether I’m falling for him or not, but even if I were, I couldn’t be in a relationship. So this song is talking about keeping it causal, but maybe more. I guess we will just see where it goes.

(Verse 1) He shows up outta nowhere, Says I gotta go. Don’t know where he’s going, But I wanna know. He sure looks lovely, But he’s way above me. Unfortunately I discovered, That I would be single for, Life... (Pre Chorus) But that all changed, When I saw him. Became deranged, When he walked in. (Chorus) Dylan, my divine, I’ll pour you some wine, As long as we have time, To do these things of mine. I’ll play games with you, We’ll dance around the room, As long as I’m with you. There’s nothing we can’t do. (Verse 2) I think he plays guitar, But I’m not sure. Our conversation isn’t as far, Gotta talk some more. He sure is hot though, He’s gotta let me know, If we could be friends for so, Long we both, Die... (Pre Chorus) I honestly don’t know much, About him but I hope, We keep in touch. I’d like to be friends, uh. (Chorus) Dylan, my divine, I’ll pour you some wine, As long as we have some time, To do these things of mine. I’ll play games with you, We’ll dance around the room, As long as I’m with you, There’s nothing we can’t do. Dylan, my divine, I’ll pour you some wine, As long as we have time, To do these things of mine. I’ll play games with you, We’ll dance around the room, As long as I’m with you, There’s nothing we can’t do. (Hook) Now that we’re sitting here, I feel complete, so complete. Pass me the caviar, I’ll put some on your plate, oh, your plate. Let’s go home now, I’m full, Let’s go break some rules, Let’s play chess now, Check mate. Check mate... I Only Do Bad Things

By Karianne Gabaldon

This is a fictional lyrical story about a woman who controls men, sexually and emotionally. She’s a bad person but doesn’t intend on bettering herself. She loves seduction as long as it’s her seducing. She also loves to play and toy with mens’ minds. She’s very vindictive and controlling, yet so sexy and beautiful. Men can’t get enough. They keep coming back for more.

Goodnight

By Karianne Gabaldon

This song is about a guy while back whom I truly fell in love with and wanted so bad. He played hard to get and I got so frustrated. He acted like he didn’t feel the same, but then I ended being his girlfriend. When he first told me he loved me was absolutely, on fire, beautiful. We ended being forced to break up. But I wrote this song from when I first started falling for him. It’s brand new but I figured falling for someone that hard would make a cool song. Especially because we ended up falling in love together.

Friends Of Mine

By Karianne Gabaldon

This song is about all my screw ups and bad choices because of what my voices have said and forced me to do. I’ve made many bad choices because of my voices and I wrote this because, not now, but there was a time where all I did, day in and out, was screw up. It made me not pleased with myself. So I just wrote this in spite of that.

Countless Calories

By Karianne Gabaldon

This song is about an eating disorder. The main focus on these lyrics is Anorexia Nervosa. I have many songs I’ve written about eating disorders because I have struggled with anorexia as a teenager and bulimia as an adult. An eating disorder is a very complex thing to both understand and overcome. These lyrics have a very special meaning to me.

Der Mann hinterm Mond

By Georg Wagner (GeWa)

L A party

By Edward McBride

This song captures some of the surreal lifestyles of the Hollywood celebrities and how this lifestyle can be short lived. Directors, actors, lawyers, surgeons etc all come together to do whatever they feel like doing, whether it be kinky sex or designer drugs anything goes.
