Imagine

(M P WEISS)

In a world best described as a "concrete jungle," we often forget that many things about nature help us in everyday life, if we were more connected with mother nature, maybe our lives would be better...

Verse 1: It's a world worth the wait It's the greener grass It's truly a shame It was made with my heart I drew it so perfect So many different people from elephants to insects but it's just a lonely project Pre-Chorus: Imagine, Imagine a world where we thrive Escape the concrete jungle where things go to die Imagine, Imagine a world where we thrive Escape the concrete jungle where things go to die Chorus: Imagine, Imagine, something that we lost Imagine, Imagine, somewhere we fell off Imagine, Imagine, we used to be synced Imagine, Imagine, us and nature linked Verse 2: We thought of elves and many creatures We can predict the future Come rain or sun we know But we lost where to go So let's use what mother wanted And leave our past so haunted Let's take the leap together And change history forever Pre-Chorus: Imagine, Imagine a world where we thrive Escape the concrete jungle where things go to die Imagine, Imagine a world where we thrive Escape the concrete jungle where things go to die Chorus: Imagine, Imagine, something that we lost Imagine, Imagine, somewhere we fell off Imagine, Imagine, we used to be synced Imagine, Imagine, us and nature linked (X2)

I See You

By Brian Hendrix

About a girl who's suffering through some pretty bad depression, and there's a guy around her, trying to help, trying to let her know that he sees through all of that bad, stressful stuff and actually sees her as a beautiful, loving person, and he just wants her to take a chance and try to be happy, rather than staying lost in her own pain and emotions. I like how it turned out. Unique rhythm to it that may be hard to glean via reading text. Very alliterative, I think.

The symbolism of the Butterfly and its natural characteristics is used as sad and lamentable ballet lyrics about how we can deny ourselves thru feelings of unworthiness etc the love we so desire until it is all too late for us in life.

Thief

By Steven Mailer

The end of mankind hinges on the piety of a single man as a demon attempts to seduce him into its service. A song about temptation and how easy it is to lose yourself when you sacrifice in its name.
