Eye on the ball

(Alan Evans)

Looking back and realising that you weren't on your own, someone had your back.

Never said thank you enough never showed you I cared you fought tooth and nail all the time you were there times you had my back thought I was on my own you stood in my corner so I wasn't all alone you watched every move your eye on the ball holding my hand so I wouldn't fall you gently guided me through a maze of hell so I could lay in your arms and rest for a spell you watched every move your eye on the ball holding my hand so I wouldn't fall showed an endless love no limits at all cushioned the blows took the pain from it all you watched every move your eye on the ball holding my hand so I wouldn't fall

Opfer der Zeit

By Roland Köhler
