The Virus
This is my version of the pandemic that is gripping the whole world at the moment. The song reflects that it is a great leveler and is unfortunately taking the lives of too many older people in nursing homes. Any money generated from sales of this song I will give it to front line workers. Thank you

No matter if
your white
No matter if
your black
No matter if
your yellow
No matter if
your red
The virus is going to get you
He said it
did not matter
just another flu
the blood is
on his hands
he made a
big mistake
Chorus
It's killing all
the weak
It's every single week
The virus is
a killer
If you're rich
or poor
the virus doesn't care
If you are a PM
or just a President
the virus doesn't care
The masks, the gloves
and ventilators
give front line more
than what they need
they put their
lives on the
line for one
and all
Grandparents, parents
all dying in
the care homes
What a disaster
bigger than Titanic
The experts got
it right
shut down your
towns and cities
It is a measure
this social distance
keep us all apart
We want to
hug the front line
give them all
a kiss
The heroes of
the virus
No, not Miss
Miley Cyrus
Chorus
It's killing
all the weak
It's every single week
This virus is
a killer
If you are
rich or poor
the virus doesn't care
If you are a PM
or just a President
The virus doesn't care
