She was a race car driver when she was eighteen,
She had a high-class father who hated her dreams,
She saved up all of her pennies so she could be free,
Said goodbye to her old life, rode off in the street
She worked four bad jobs to keep on our feet,
Lived in one room to save on the fees,
Had our life on the road, her own company
But she wouldn’t change a thing, cause then she met me
We had a courthouse wedding, cheap as can be,
Bought two-dollar rings but we knew what it means
Saved up all our money to buy an RV
Drove it down by the lake to live life as queens
One year later we were then three
Road family that lived life with ease
Wouldn’t change a thing, we’d all agree
Livin’ ain’t easy but we followed our dream
